Position Summary

The Certified and Master Certified Service Technician will perform vehicle servicing and repairs following established standards and procedures. You may also perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet customer expectations. This role requires maintaining a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing techniques.
  • Maintain the highest level of training as a Master Certified Technician.
  • Keep vehicles clean during service and repair processes.
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining shop appearance and safety standards.
  • Support efficient shop operations through inventory management and general shop duties.
  • Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position with regular working hours.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Dealer-level or large facility experience preferred, especially for Master Certified Technicians.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Ability to physically perform tasks, including bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
