Position Overview

The Automotive Service Technician plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by properly diagnosing and repairing vehicles. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and commitment to completing work efficiently and accurately.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle concerns using current technical tools and resources.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward all customers and colleagues.
  • Assist in greeting customers in the service area as needed.
  • Stay updated on technical publications and service protocols.
  • Ensure all vehicle services are completed safely, correctly, and delivered as promised.
  • Address original customer concerns before suggesting additional services.
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and potential service opportunities based on factory recommendations.
  • Return vehicles clean or cleaner than when received.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training programs.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary documentation.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by Service Manager or leadership.
  • Adhere to punctuality and uniform standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Globe, AZ, at our dealership. You will work in a professional automotive service setting with a team dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on multiple vehicle makes and models.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed service goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and a positive work ethic.
  • High-energy personality with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical aptitude verified by ASE certification.
  • Technical or trade school education preferred.
